ABOUT THIS ITEM
Designed originally as a travelling chest and seat this coffer is of a simple six plank design. It still has the original iron lock (no key provided) and hinges. This piece was originally built for dual purpose, storing goods such as bedding or silver and also a surface for sitting on or using as a side table. Can work as both storage and seating, or even as a coffee table.

ITEM CONDITION
This coffer is a perfect up-cycle project and is need of some definite TLC, as it shows signs of wear and tear commensurate with age and usage, but is still a sturdy and functional antique piece.
